Monday, April 26th ~ Today we begin with the moon in Libra, moving void from 8:40am EST until it enters Scorpio at 12:19pm EST. We build up to tonight's Full Moon in Scorpio, which perfects at 11:31pm EST. The Full Moon in Scorpio sheds light on the shadow. We are called to bring our attention to the darkness. We see hidden emotions, memories, and all that lies beneath the surface. This process can be very cathartic if we are able to view it in a proactive, positive manner. This Full Moon is the culmination of a moon cycle which began on November 14th during the New Moon in Scorpio. What were your intentions then? Many times the Scorpio moon cycle centers around themes of renewal and regeneration, death, transformation, and at times legal matters and inheritances. You may notice a significant shift in these areas since November's Scorpion New Moon. Asteroid Psyche enters Cancer today, where it will be until July 15th. Psyche rules over the mind and mental processes, including our mental health. Here in Cancer, memory plays a big role. We may find our long-term memory stimulated. Nostalgia and connection to the past are all enhanced. It may be easier to remember things during this time if there is some sort of emotional connection to the information.

Tuesday, April 27th ~ The moon is in Scorpio all day today, preparing us for transformation. The whole day is quite Plutonian in nature. We enter the underworld so we can be better equipped to understand and transform it. The day might be rather intense but brings intense honesty and deep knowledge that goes way below the surface. Pluto moves retrograde at 4:03pm EST, lasting until October 6th. As Pluto spends nearly half of every year in retrograde, we are no strangers to this energy. Pluto retrograde offers us a chance to see how our shadow operates. What is your shadow like? How does it compare to that of others? Our shadow is the part of ourselves that we keep hidden because we believe it to be shameful, strange, unacceptable, etc. We might keep it hidden in order to protect ourselves, or to be accepted by others. Maybe we suppress it unknowingly because we are scared of it. While we may be born with particular karma that makes us more likely to inherit a certain kind of shadow, our shadow does not follow us from life to life. It comes about usually in early childhood, around the time we transition from our Moon to Sun sign. (I may do a video about this soon, but basically as children we operate more from our moon sign and develop our egos around our Sun sign, and it is during the traveling over this bridge that our shadow self is created). The more you can get to know and love your shadow, the less out of control it will become. Over the next few months, see if you can recognize it in yourself. It is often easier to see in others, and this is a good place to start provided you are able to observe without judgment.

Wednesday, April 28th ~ The day kicks off with the moon in Scorpio, void from 8:31am until 11:43am EST when it enters Sagittarius. We emerge from the Hadean underworld into bright, sparkling sunlight. The theme of the day is expansion. You might want to stretch out, having more space to roam. This could manifest physically or in more metaphorical ways. The day is lighter and a bit more playful. Uranus squares asteroid Sappho, who rules over poetry, friendship, and vulnerability. This makes a fickle muse, with ideas that come about maybe when you least expect or are least ready for them. This transit lasts for three days, so consider carrying a little notebook or recording a quick voice memo to capture any wisps of intention as they drift through your mind. It is quite easy to forget things under this sky without this physical proof.

Thursday, April 29th ~ The moon is in Sagittarius all day. We find ourselves seeking out adventure and new ways of looking at the world. Curiosity abounds. It's a good day to learn things from others. It could be fascinating to see how each person views the world from their own perspective, and how that can color their experience. Mercury and Neptune meet in sextile tonight at 10:26pm EST, though it is apparent all day long. This is an excellent day for channeling the higher self and guides, especially with Uranus and asteroid Sappho still in square. Words float through the deepest spiritual waters, bringing intense healing along with them. Spiritual love can be felt more readily, both between those living here on Earth and with those who have passed on.

Friday, April 30th ~ This morning, the moon is in Sagittarius, turning void of course from 9:27am until it enters Capricorn at 12:16pm EST. It is a lazy morning where we could feel more interested in goofing off and playing games rather than getting down to work. If you force yourself to hop on the computer and do some serious work, you could just end up hopping down weird Wikipedia rabbit holes instead. This afternoon and evening is more favorable for hard work and focus. The Sun and Uranus meet in conjunction in Taurus at 3:53pm EST. This aspect brings the unexpected. The more you can go with the flow today, the better. The ego is forced to release control to the joker energy of Uranus. Anything and everything could happen! Some of it is exciting and great, and other parts might be annoying. It is easier to face any disruptions with a light, playful demeanor.

Saturday, May 1st ~ It is a very simple day astrologically, a nice May Day off from major celestial interference. The moon is in Capricorn all day, trining the Sun in Taurus. It's a pleasant day to spend time outside or connecting with nature in some form or fashion. The Sun squares asteroid Sappho, who rules over poetry, friendships and romantic idealism. Sappho is also one of the rulers of the LGBTQ+ community. Sappho is currently transiting Aquarius, which helps to bring positive change and social justice in these realms. Today's Sun/Sappho square may make us feel more vulnerable emotionally. It's a good day to be honest with the people you care about and share your heart in whatever way feels good and safe for you. The Capricorn moon provides some balance and stability to help us through this process.

Sunday, May 2nd ~ We begin with the moon in Capricorn, moving void for a good chunk of the afternoon from 10:38am until 3:31pm EST when it enters Aquarius. The morning could bring a desire for work, organization or cleaning up. As soon as the moon hits Aquarius, all plans fly out the window. Mercury and Pluto are in trine today (perfect at 5:19am EST), which makes communication very to-the-point and precise. Clarity of thought and language is improved, making it a good day for writing or verbal communication. Venus and Neptune are in sextile, exact at 6:38pm EST. This is a gentle, romantic transit that makes us desire intense spiritual communion with others, almost as though we are merging together as one. This is ideal for both romantic partners and for close platonic friendships. These ties become almost telepathic in nature. Pay attention to your dreams tonight, as they could be quite lucid and unique.
