Weekly Forecast: 9/6/21 through 9/12/21

Monday, September 6th ~ We have an active day in the cosmos, with the moon turning new in Virgo. The New Moon perfects this evening at 8:51pm EST, and begins a new macro moon cycle in Virgo. In six months, during Pisces season, we will begin to experience the manifested fruits of our intention. The Virgo moon cycle pertains to the physical plane: our bodies, health, and tangible work and service. Intentions relating to our wellness and constitution tend to align with the work of Virgo. The New Moon brings us inward to experience our beliefs and knowing. This may require some restructuring or reframing, to open yourself up to that which you wish to step into. In addition, Mars and Pluto meet in trine this morning at 8:19am EST, a transit we will continue to feel for the next few days. This indicates a strong desire to transform, and to take action to initiate this change. You may feel some internal pressure to shift. The trine softens this energy and acts as a guide through this heavy pressure. Venus and Jupiter are also in trine today, perfect at 9:04am EST. This is one of my favorite transits, and helps to harmonize the more intense aspects going on in the sky. The expansion of love and creativity allow for greater inspiration and a deepening of compassion. The heart opens up to share rays of light and color. Finally, tonight, the Sun and Uranus meet in trine at 9:28pm EST. This allows us to shake off the heavy cloak of ego and receive divine insight. You may notice that things shift and change today; there is little use holding onto the way we believe things ought to be.

Tuesday, September 7th ~ Today we begin the day with the moon in Virgo, opposing Neptune at 9:34am EST. This transit creates a division between reality and fantasy. Some may find it difficult to open their minds to things perceived as fantastical or impossible, while others will find it challenging to bring themselves back down to earth. Balance is key here; which side do you find you are falling on today? Seek to expand and open in the direction of either ground or sky. The moon trines Pluto at 1:56pm and enters into a conjunction with Mars at 3:23pm EST. This activates the Mars trine Pluto transit that is still echoing in the sky from yesterday. A catalyst serves to propel us forward. The impetus to change some aspect of our lives is strong. To move into new energy offers us a kind of relief. The moon is void of course from 3:24pm until 11:20pm EST, when it ingresses Libra. This eight hour window provides healing for the physical body and our relationship to self. Ways to better nourish ourselves are presented; the decision to embark in the direction of these is up to you.

Wednesday, September 8th ~ We have the moon in Libra all day, providing an opportunity to greater explore the concept of duality. Mercury and Chiron meet in opposition at 12:30am, later the Moon opposes Chiron at 7:16pm and then the moon and Mercury meet in conjunction at 9:00pm EST. This building of transits today tells a very clear story. We may feel self-conscious regarding the way we communicate. We could feel misunderstood or not know how to word things appropriately. The way we think about a situation could trigger the pain from past misunderstandings. As the day continues, we may feel increased frustration or a strong desire to communicate our feelings. As the moon and Mercury finally meet tonight, the mind and emotions are now in harmony. Today provides a gift to work through these fears and finally mend the perceived duality between thoughts and feelings. In addition, the moon trines the North Node and Saturn today, which gives us the desire to work through emotions on our own before involving others. We may feel a strong sensation of destiny or fate moving through us, guiding us forward. It is a karmic day that brings along much healing.

Thursday, September 9th ~ The moon is in Libra all day, making fewer aspects than is typical. The moon squares Pluto in Capricorn at 4:47pm EST and trines Jupiter in Aquarius at 5:03pm EST. This energy is more focused around that of the playful jester, it rebels against the desire to take things too seriously. We could feel frustrated by concepts relating to spiritual evolution and want a day to just take it easy. Jupiter trines asteroid Vesta today and tomorrow, which brings a feeling of joy and lightness to our home. Having a gathering of friends or taking time to socialize allows for increased happiness today. You may find your productivity improved in the long run by giving yourself a chance to rest and recuperate today. If you do not have the luxury of taking time off from responsibilities, find a way to infuse some fun in what you do. Listen to music while doing chores, treat yourself to a delicious dinner, offer yourself some gift today.

Friday, September 10th ~ We begin with the moon in Libra, entering into a conjunction with Venus at 12:47am EST. Emotions expand, tenderness increases, and we may feel quite easily moved by both relationships with others and by artistic output. The moon is void of course for a brief window, from 12:48am until 2:04am EST when it ingresses Scorpio. The scorpion rules the day, as Venus will later ingress Scorpio at 4:38pm EST. The energy of Scorpio is dark and deep, like the furthest reaches of the ocean floor, where the only light comes from incandescent fish and glowing flora. The pressure here is intense and heavy, but great mysteries abound. There is much to learn about this world, and endless life to explore. Similarly, with the moon here, our emotions know no bounds. We are able to feel things in an expanded way, but may not be as keen to share with others unless there is mutual trust. As for Venus, it will be here in Scorpio until October 7th. The next four weeks bring our relationships into these great oceanic depths. We may desire more intimacy and closeness, and those who can't provide it will leave us feeling ultimately unsatisfied. We connect to art and creativity through accessing the shadow first and foremost. We enter the unexplored terrain bravely, unafraid to tread where the light has yet to touch.

Saturday, September 11th ~ We have the moon in Scorpio all day, opposing Uranus at 2:36am EST and sextiling the Sun at 10:07am EST. We may oscillate between a feeling of wanting to be a hermit away from the world, and wanting to share with others. It could be that we want to be seen, but are fearful of what will happen once we are. As the day progresses, the transits draw us out of our shyness more and more. The moon trines Neptune at 2:50pm EST and squares Jupiter at 7:08pm EST. We begin to drop our desire to cultivate and control the way we are received by others. The moon's final transit for the day is a sextile to Pluto at 7:13pm EST, which helps us feel more confident in our dealings. You may be able to step into a position of benevolent leadership, or take control for some aspect of your life in a way that feels positive and natural.

Sunday, September 12th ~ The day begins with the moon in Scorpio, sextiling Mars at 1:32am EST before moving void of course. The void period is brief, ending at 4:34am EST as the moon ingresses Sagittarius. Dreams overnight have the feeling of traveling great distances, and you may wake up with the feeling that something important has transpired, even if you are unable to recall what it was. The moon conjuncts the South Node at 12:35pm EST, opening up a portal into our distant past. Nostalgia and memory expand and we seek out direct experience with the past. Past lives are easier to glimpse during this time. This evening, the moon sextiles Saturn at 5:17pm EST, which helps to sharpen the mind and assists with memory recall. It's a good evening for studying or learning something new, as the brain is likely to retain it easier. However, you may find it easier to learn from experiences or doing things with your hands, as opposed to simply reading or hearing about it. The Sagittarian spirit insists upon jumping into an activity to understand it, rather than leaving it as a theory.
