Weekly Forecast: 10/11/21 through 10/17/21

Monday, October 11th ~ Today is quite simple astrologically, with very little aspects connecting in the sky. We begin the day with the moon in Sagittarius, sextiling Jupiter at 12:30am EST before immediately moving void of course. Following up with scheduled tasks might feel constricting and uninspiring, and we wish to break away from the dull rhythm of routine. Once the moon ingresses Capricorn at 1:14pm EST, we become more focused. The emotions and mind can center in on one activity and give it more attention. No other aspects occur today; it is a good afternoon and evening to check in on your own transits as we can always feel these more when there is less going on in the stars.

Tuesday, October 12th ~ The moon is in Capricorn all day, providing a steady grounding energy. We begin with the moon squaring Chiron at 6:39am EST. Something requiring healing keeps trying to get our attention. This could be physical, such as an ache or pain that is reminding us we need rest, or emotional, like a feeling that keeps creeping in when we're doing other things. It's a good time to process this and give it the attention it deserves. Later, the moon squares retrograde Mercury at 11:50am and trines Uranus at 12:33pm EST. These transits are more solitary in nature. We might find ourselves preferring to get lost in a project that allows for free thinking and an open minded approach. Having to explain what we're doing to other people activates impatience for many. Tonight, the moon squares Mars at 8:26pm and enters its First Quarter phase at 11:25pm EST. The First Quarter is an initiatory period that often acts as a catalyst for us. We may experience restless energy and a desire to leap into action.

Wednesday, October 13th ~ We begin the day with the moon in Capricorn, sextiling Neptune at 1:10am EST. We feel drawn to help others and to understand them from a place of wisdom and compassion. It is easier to see what others need to move toward peace and healing, but it could be more challenging to see these what is required for ourselves. The moon conjuncts Pluto at 6:53am EST and then moves void of course for the rest of the morning and afternoon. Much of the day's energy invites us to assist others and be a good listener. Venus and Saturn are in sextile at 3:26pm EST, though we feel this transit all day long. This contributes to the spirit of mediation and harmony as well. Taking responsibility for relationships and working together to create a spirit of cooperation is one way to utilize this transit. It can also be great for artistic pursuits, giving us the focus and dedication to work on fine details. The moon ingresses Aquarius at 4:47pm EST, and later trines the North Node at 9:18pm EST. The Aquarian moon is more independent but still motivated to find harmony for all. Tonight we may feel like we are being drawn in the direction of our destiny. Something unlocks which provides us insight into the big picture, either for humanity or for our own individual journey.

Thursday, October 14th ~ Today the moon is in Aquarius, conjuncting Saturn at 4:54am and sextiling Venus at 6:03am EST. We connect to the higher emotions of Aquarius, which are filled with hope and idealism for the human species and for the planet as a whole. We could feel motivated to work toward a shift in consciousness for the world. The moon continues on to sextile Chiron at 10:42am and trine Mercury at 1:08pm EST. Communicating our thoughts and unique vision help to heal both the self and others. Finally, the moon and Uranus meet in square at 4:51pm EST. This transit brings a kind of "mad science" energy, with ideas zapping down like lightning. It can be challenging to predict what comes next, so it's better to just roll with the changes and improvise as you go.

Friday, October 15th ~ The moon is in Aquarius for most of the day, starting off by trining Mars at 3:57am EST. Today is an extremely positive day astrologically, and many will pick up on this contagious optimism. This first transit brings a spirit of excitement and passion; you may find yourself waking up early or getting up with more energy than usual. The Sun and Jupiter meet in trine at 7:46am EST, but we feel this transit all day. This is one of my favorite aspects of all time; it brings a sense of enthusiasm, generosity, and a feeling like anything is possible. Then, the moon conjuncts Jupiter at 8:29am and enters its Waxing Gibbous phase at 8:32am EST before moving void of course. An outpouring of love spills out. All these transits activate the heart chakra and make us excited to love, give, and share. The Waxing Gibbous phase brings joy and a desire to work toward manifesting our dreams. The moon is then void for almost 14 hours, providing a portal to explore. Things open up today which may have been inaccessible before. The moon ingresses Pisces at 10:21pm EST, deepening the intuition and our connection to the dream world.

Saturday, October 16th ~  Today we have the moon in Pisces all day, expanding our intuition and imagination. The moon squares both the North and South Node at 2:49am EST which is a bizarre sensation. We find ourselves not wanting to move toward the future, but also feeling self-conscious about the past. The present moment offers both comfort and solace today. Venus and Chiron meet in trine at 2:49am EST, suggesting that relationships bring healing and help us to understand our own path better. The moon squares Venus at 4:59pm, and Mercury sextiles Venus at 9:23pm EST. Emotions are tender and raw, but being around other people helps us to process these things and find center again. Escaping into your own world might seem more appealing but doesn't allow things to move and grow. The last transit of the day is the Moon sextiling Uranus at 11:14pm EST, giving us an ability to see things from an expanded perspective. It becomes easier to shift beliefs to become more open-minded and accepting.

Sunday, October 17th ~ Today we have the moon in Pisces all day, casting a gentle, dreamlike spell. The first transit is the Sun entering a square with Pluto at 8:12am EST. This is a stubborn energy that brings a feeling of rebellion and refusal to submit. We may find ourselves skeptical and anxious about others' intentions. It could seem like someone is out to get you, even if they are not. The best use of this transit is to use it to overcome hardships; while it does have some negative connotations, it is very good for pulling yourself up from a perceived failure and getting back at it again. The moon conjuncts Neptune at 12:59pm EST which is an extremely empathic transit. We absorb others' emotions like sponges, and might have a hard time deducing what belongs to us and what came from somewhere else. The moon sextiles Pluto at 7:24pm EST and then moves void of course until tomorrow. Determination lights the way today. Be aware of the tendency to create problems just to have something to overcome.
