Weekly Forecast: 1/31/22 through 2/6/22

Monday, January 31st ~ Today we begin the day with the moon in Capricorn, trining the North Node newly in Taurus at 2:55am EST. This grounds us into possibilities, allowing for great strides to be made in the direction of tangible goals. The moon's void period ends at 4:42am EST as it enters Aquarius. Our minds become more active and creatively inspired. It could be harder to focus on detailed work. The day is fairly quiet until 7:45pm EST when the moon sextiles Chiron. This softens our hearts to the plights of others; we feel inspired to give in some manner. The moon squares Uranus at 10:25pm EST to round out the day, and this brings a need for personal space. This makes us somewhat reactive, especially around those who we feel are encroaching on our freedom and ability to make decisions for ourselves.

Tuesday, February 1st ~ The Aquarian New Moon perfects at 12:46am EST at 12 degrees Aquarius. The darkest point of the moon cycle brings replenishment and a need to shed all that is stagnant and confining. The Aquarian energy of this new moon drives us toward freedom and deeper understanding of spiritual compassion, that which rises above the need for reciprocation. This cosmic event occurs in the second decan of Aquarius, ruled by Mercury. We find our minds being reprogrammed to acclimate to the changing energy of the times. The moon then enters a conjunction with Saturn at 6:01am EST before moving void of course for just about twenty-four hours. To say this is a rabbit hole is a bit of an understatement. We will enter into varying slipstreams today that allow for integration of new ideas and concepts. Asteroid Juno enters Aquarius today; the asteroid of the mother and marriage prefers more room to expand here. Relationships (both romantic and those between family) flourish more if space is allowed for individuals to be exactly who they are. The rest of the day is free from aspects and will likely have a dreamlike quality.

Wednesday, February 2nd ~ The day begins with the Aquarian moon, still in its dark phase, squaring the North Node at 3:30am EST. We prefer fun and adventure today and could find serious tasks to be draining if we are not able to infuse them with humor. The lengthy void of the moon ends at 5:59am EST as it enters Pisces. Imagination rules today; logic and routine will result in loss of focus and intense boredom. The moon sextiles Mars later at 5:32pm and conjuncts Jupiter at 6:57pm EST. These transits amp up excitement and our desire to connect with others through joyful activity. Collaborations can make great strides this evening, particularly in the brainstorming phase.

Thursday, February 3rd ~  We have the moon in Pisces all day, increasing our auric fields and making us more sensitive to the energies of others. The moon sextiles Uranus at 12:30am and sextiles Venus at 1:34am EST. We could feel more romantic or simply desire being close to someone who we do not know everything about yet. The moon conjuncts Neptune later in the day at 6:53pm EST, which heightens spiritual feelings. Some may experience deep ecstasy under these transits while others could feel a kind of undetermined homesickness. Mercury stations direct at 11:12pm EST, effectively ending its retrograde at 24 degrees Capricorn. With the personal planets now out of retrograde, interpersonal dynamics flow more smoothly. Business or living situations can be determined without worry of decisions being reverted. The moon sextiles Mercury at 11:55pm EST, which increases our desire to talk about abstract ideas with friends and loved ones. We are more open to working out problems in compassionate ways now that Mercury retrograde is complete.

Friday, February 4th ~ The Pisces moon sextiles Pluto at 4:40am EST to begin the day, which amplifies intuition and gut knowing. Trust yourself today; even if something doesn't add up logically, your instincts are likely spot on. The moon is void of course for about five hours. It is possible to get lost in our minds for much of this period. The moon sextiles the North Node at 6:36am EST which aligns us to our higher purpose. The intuitive burst can be directed toward our largescale ambitions with more ease. Even if you do not feel you are accomplishing much, you are likely chipping away at a grander unfoldment of your soul's evolution. Mars and Jupiter meet in sextile at 8:37am EST, an aspect we will feel all day and into tomorrow. This is a buoyant, energetic transit that creates a positive need to take action and to inject some level of adventure into even the most tedious activity. The moon's void ends at 9:56am EST as it ingresses Aries. This only adds to the flair of the Mars/Jupiter sextile, and amps up energy to an eleven. The Sun and Saturn conjunct at 2:04pm EST, another aspect that is palpable all day long. This adds a degree of focus and commitment to the more expansive fire, and allows for deep work to be accomplished without it feeling too draining or overwhelming.

Saturday, February 5th ~ We have the moon in fiery Aries all day, creating strong waves of energy that require consistent release. The moon squares Mars at 1:27am and conjuncts Chiron at 3:04am EST, transits which create restlessness and a strong pull to heal through physical activity. Remember to stretch and keep your body moving throughout the day. The moon squares Venus at 7:56am EST; we could prefer some solo time this morning and might feel impatient if others can't keep up with us. Later in the day, the moon sextiles Saturn at 3:22pm and then sextiles the Sun at 5:17pm EST, which ushers in the moon's Waxing Crescent phase. Fully out of the dark moon phase, we feel excited about new possibilities on the horizon. Saturn's influence allows us to envision the steps needed to make this change a reality. This allows for an easy break down of how we will get there; however, the Aries flair of the day could make us antsy as we realize the level of work required.

Sunday, February 6th ~ Today begins with the Aries moon in a square to Mercury at 7:42am EST; we may be somewhat reckless or annoyed with delays. Mercury is still in its retrograde shadow, even though the proper Rx has completed. This shadow period brings back memories from the retrograde and can even seem to mirror some of its lessons. Today's  biggest aspect is a square between Mars and Chiron. It perfects at 7:57am EST but we have been feeling it build all weekend and will notice it until about Tuesday. This amplifies health issues and can make us overly concerned with our bodies. We may notice tension related to health; someone else's idea of healing could invoke anger or even rage in others. Try to focus on yourself and your own process as much as possible. What works for you may not necessarily be best for another. Compassion can allow for actual transmutation of pain and suffering. The moon squares Pluto at 12:20pm and then moves void of course until 5:52pm EST, when it enters Taurus. There is a lot of resistance until this point. We dig in our heels and feel extremely agitated if others try to get us to move. As soon as the moon moves into Taurus, some of this releases. Taurus is the most stubborn sign, but the moon is exalted here. It feels comfortable and can relish in sensual delights. We may feel more pleasantly embodied; the Mars/Chiron tension is eased by the moon's ingress into Taurus.
