Weekly Forecast: 9/12/22 through 9/18/21

Monday, September 12th ~ Today we have the moon in expressive, explosive Aries all day. We feel ready for a new beginning in some sector of our lives. The moon conjuncts Chiron at 5:12am EST, inviting in the opportunity to heal self-consciousness and introduce more confidence. The moon later sextiles Saturn at 1:25pm EST which commits us to becoming more responsible on the path toward a professional goal. The rest of the day is free from planetary aspects, allowing us a chance to reset our energy and recalibrate ourselves.

Tuesday, September 13th ~ The day begins with the Aries moon in square to Pluto at 12:52am EST. This is rebellious energy; we do not appreciate being told what to do or having our power undermined. There could be authority struggles today as two sides attempt to regain control. The moon is void of course from 12:53am until 7:39am EST when it ingresses Taurus. We have no further aspects for the day. The moon is exalted in Taurus, which brings a more peaceful outlook but can also increase stubbornness. It's a good day to spend time outside or working with plants or animals.

Wednesday, September 14th ~ We have the moon in Taurus all day, connecting us to the sensual world. We seek to utilize our five senses as much as possible and luxuriate in the best of what life has to offer. The moon trines Venus at 4:41am and conjuncts the North Node at 10:48am EST. These are harmonious aspects which bring a need for time with close friends and loved ones; we also feel emotionally ready to stretch out of our comfort zone toward a karmic unfolding. The moon conjuncts Uranus at 6:33pm and squares Saturn at 8:29pm EST to close out the day. These shake up stagnation and increase rebellion. Unique outlooks are favored to more traditional approaches for this portion of the day.

Thursday, September 15th ~ The moon enters its Waning Gibbous phase at 1:30am EST and we are officially out of the dark moon period. This is a time for reflection over what is going well in our lives, and for sending out gratitude for those things we are pleased with. The moon sextiles Neptune at 4:47am and trines Pluto at 8:58am EST, then moves void of course for over seven hours. These are imaginative transits which expand our idea of what is possible and sharpen our observational skills at the same time. The void is good for playful activity and self-care. The moon's void ends at 4:16pm EST as it moves into Gemini. Curiosity increases and we may feel more sociable and chatty.

Friday, September 16th ~ We have a very active astrological day with the moon in Gemini. It begins with the moon sextile Jupiter at 2:13am and trine Mercury at 5:35am EST. Energy levels are high to start the day and bring a sense of optimism and exploratory vibes. It may be difficult to turn off the mind and rest. Venus squares Mars at 2:48pm EST; this is not the easiest transit and can exacerbate interpersonal conflicts. Existing arguments can grow more heated under this transit. There needs to be an outlet for outrage; channel your annoyance into physical exercise if you can. The Sun opposes Neptune at 6:20pm EST, another aspect we feel all day long. This expands the imagination but can make us invested in an illusion. It is easy to act on an impulse today and not even question its validity. Be aware of this as you move through the day. Venus trines the North Node at 8:16pm EST, a pleasant aspect which sets us up to move toward the relationships which nurture our soul. While some people fall out of our lives, the door opens to pull us toward those who will be more compatible. The moon continues its activity tonight as it conjuncts Mars at 8:51pm, squares Venus at 9:18pm, and sextiles Chiron at 9:57pm EST. The Venus/Mars square intensifies conflict and the moon's involvement gets us to chat more openly about our feelings. This has the potential to heal and help us if we are candid and honest. Chiron brings healing through this continued expression.

Saturday, September 17th ~ We have another full day with the moon in airy Gemini, enhancing our desire to soak up information and knowledge like a sponge. The moon trines Saturn at 7:03am EST, enhancing focus and dedication to completing a task. We may be called upon to help a sibling or other family member. The moon squares Neptune at 3:53pm and then enters its Last Quarter phase at 5:51pm EST. As the moon decreases in light, we can feel more inward and like hibernating. The Neptune/moon interplay brings more sensitivity. Empaths might be particularly absorbent tonight, picking up others' energy with ease. The moon is void of course from 5:52pm EST until tomorrow morning. Mars sextiles Chiron to close out the day at 11:54pm EST, though we feel this building all day and will notice it tomorrow as well. This draws the attention to physical healing. We may become aware of physical pain or illness that requires care and love. The sextile ensures this is a gentle process, but it could be somewhat intense in its application.

Sunday, September 18th ~ The moon is void of course until 3:59am EST, when it ingresses Cancer. The moon is at home in Cancer, the sign it rules over. We feel more emotional and poetic, and might long to express our love and care for someone else. The moon squares Jupiter at 1:37pm and squares retrograde Mercury at 1:56pm EST. It is not the most social day; we could easily feel overwhelmed by too much stimulation and conversation. Oddly, Mercury opposes Jupiter at 6:33pm EST which actually increases chattiness. So while we might internally wish for more space and quiet, it could be hard to come by. The day closes with the Sun trining Pluto at 11:57pm EST. This allows for great personal transformation and the ability to see the true self beneath any ego trappings.
