Weekly Forecast: 9/19/22 through 9/25/22

Monday, September 19th ~ It's a full day with the moon in its domicile of Cancer, casting an emotional glow that increases tenderness and sensitivity. The moon sextiles its North Node at 9:37am and squares Chiron at 10:14am EST. While we could be excited for the future, there is some reluctance to face something from our past that must be looked at before we can move on. The moon sextiles Venus later at 4:52pm and sextiles Uranus at 5:43pm EST. These are pleasant transits which bring fun and excitement to relationships and allow for us to show our love in an out of the box way. Happy surprises come tonight from friends or through a romantic partner.

Tuesday, September 20th ~ The day begins with Venus trining Uranus at 12:44am EST, a transit we feel all throughout the day. Both of these planets are in earth signs; this creates a more stabile footing for a somewhat bouncy, exciting aspect. Stagnancy is shaken up in relationships and they may be catapulted to the next level in a surprising manner. This is also a creativity booster that brings in new ideas and allows us to capture beauty. The Cancer moon trines Neptune at 4:24am and opposes Pluto at 8:58am EST. Imagination soars but it could be hard to stay focused and listen to what others have to say. Daydreaming is quite likely. The moon enters its Waning Crescent phase at 11:56am EST and then moves void of course for almost five hours. We might feel like spending time alone or spacing out in order to think and reflect. The moon enters Leo at 4:37pm and later sextiles Mercury at 9:51pm EST. This is quite expressive and allows us to discuss ideas in a colorful, captivating manner. The day lends itself way to artistic pursuits and romantic affairs.

Wednesday, September 21st ~ The moon is in regal Leo all day, increasing our need to be seen and validated for who we are. With the moon trining Jupiter at 1:31am EST, we feel more affectionate and generous with our time and attention. There are no aspects for the majority of the day, providing a clean slate to tap into your own natal energy and transits. The moon squares both Nodes tonight at 9:23pm and later trines Chiron at 10:12pm EST. It is time to heal some element of your past and forgive yourself, let go of shame, and invite in the opportunity for growth and self-acceptance. This may be challenging but provides much relief. It is the last full day with the Sun in Virgo; with the Sun at the 29th or anaretic degree, we could be quite needy of attention and reassurance.

Thursday, September 22nd ~ The moon is in Leo for another full day, amplifying creativity and the need to play. The moon sextiles Mars at 2:00am and squares Uranus at 5:36am EST. Energy is quite high but a little directionless. You might feel amped up but unsure of where to go next. The moon opposes Saturn at 7:06am EST and then moves void of course until tomorrow morning. This extremely long void period is ideal for rest, playing games, and releasing heavy expectations of self and others. The Sun enters Libra at 9:03pm EST. Happy Libra season! In the sign of cardinal air, we initiate harmony and balance in relationships and our attention becomes somewhat more extroverted and social. It's a good time for cleaning up the space around us and decorating it to our liking, changing our appearance in some way, or making art and music.

Friday, September 23rd ~ Today kicks off with the Sun and Mercury meeting in conjunction at 2:49am EST. This particular Mercury Cazimi is known as the interior Cazimi, with Mercury as close to the Earth as it will ever be. This initiates a brand new Mercury cycle. It's an excellent time to birth a new idea or begin to implement a new project. New possibilities are envisioned while Mercury and the Sun are in union, and inventive thinking brings us to new vistas. Mercury is re-energized after meeting with the Sun and we in turn can think sharper and clearer. The moon's void period ends at 3:53am EST when it moves into Virgo. Here, we may enjoy getting our thoughts in order by making a to-do list or organizing in some manner. Mercury moves back into Virgo at 8:04am EST, finishing out its retrograde here in the sign it rules over. Now that Mercury is out of Libra, we will find less relationship drama and miscommunications occurring. Mercury's time in Virgo brings the focus on mental health, memory, and clearing out the mind. It's a good time to do meditation, breathing exercises, and whatever else assists you in keeping your mind healthy and sharp.

Saturday, September 24th ~ The moon is in earthy Virgo all day, increasing sensuality and the need to devote love and time to others. Venus opposes Neptune at 4:51am EST, a transit we feel all day. We put on rose-colored glasses when it comes to our friendships and love connections; it can be challenging to see the truth of a situation. Excuses might be made for others' behavior. It can be easy to see this when looking at other people, but harder to notice it in yourself. This is an excellent transit for writing, poetry, and other artistic expression, however. The moon trines its North Node at 6:55am and squares Mars at 1:50pm EST. Anger is blocked and could build up beneath the surface. Despite this, we are pulled in the direction of destiny and can feel as though something is falling into place that we have been working toward for a while. The moon trines Uranus at 3:16pm EST, the last transit of the day. This allows for a lightbulb moment, or an idea that reinvigorates the mind. Breaking through old beliefs and murky mental clutter, we can finally see something that once eluded us.

Sunday, September 25th ~ The day begins with the Virgo moon opposing Neptune at 1:10am EST; we may wish to merge with those closest to us. It could be hard to make a decision without consulting someone else. The moon conjuncts Venus at 3:24am and trines Pluto at 8:49am EST. Closeness is a big theme of the day; we will want to be interlocked with those we care about and might find it difficult to break off to be more independent. The moon conjuncts Mercury at 8:49am and then is void of course until it enters Libra at 12:42pm EST. We will feel more chatty and expressive during the void period and will want to talk over ideas with friends, family, and partners. Once the moon is in Libra, we are officially in the dark moon period as we build toward the New Moon in Libra at 12:42pm EST. The New Moon in Libra is maybe the strangest New Moon; New Moons are usually extremely inward and private, but Libra is perhaps the most social and other-focused sign. This juxtaposing energy makes us want to take a person (or maybe a few!) we care about and hole up with them, insulating the relationship from the world. This new Libra macro moon cycle allows us to set intentions around love and friendships. Are there friendships you wish to shed? What kind of relationships would you like to see in your life? The moon opposes Jupiter at 7:44pm EST, the last transit of the day. Feelings are big and all-consuming; whatever is felt will be magnified and exaggerated. Turn your attention to something funny and you might just laugh until you cry tonight! This can be quite cathartic and clears the way for the fresh energy of this next moon cycle.
