Weekly Forecast: 9/26/22 through 10/2/22

Monday, September 26th ~ Today is quite an active day astrologically. The moon is in airy Libra all day, still in its dark phase as we come off of yesterday's New Moon. We may feel low energy or a bit like hibernating with a loved one. Venus trines Pluto at 1:45am EST, though this transit can be felt all day long. This allows for increased focus in artistic pursuits, allowing one to see the most minute detail and give it the time and attention needed to make it beautiful. It also brings positive transformation in intimate relationships. Mercury and Venus meet in conjunction in Virgo at 1:58pm EST, increasing our ability to be clear and communicate in a smooth and open manner with those we care about. The Sun opposes Jupiter at 3:33pm EST just as the moon opposes Chiron in Aries at the exact same minute. We could be quite excitable under this influence, wanting to take in as much of life as we can. It also increases our empathy and generosity, making it an ideal time to donate money or time to a charity you care about. The moon trines Mars later on at 10:54pm and trines Saturn at 11:44pm EST to close out the day. Energy increases and we feel ready to take on a particular challenge or responsibility. This is quite a busy day in the cosmos, but the majority of the transits are supportive and encourage productivity in relationships, creativity, and general outlook.

Tuesday, September 27th ~ The day begins with Mercury in trine to Pluto at 8:55am EST, something we feel all day long. We went through this transit not that long ago, with retrograde Mercury re-meeting the planets as it moves back across the sky. This time, we find our observational qualities honed and our ability to see below the surface of a situation enhanced. Perception is quite keen and good. It is easier to remember small details and to formulate a game plan. The Libra moon squares Pluto at 12:20pm and then moves void of course until 7:14pm EST when it enters Scorpio. The void brings quiet reflection and a need to get in touch with the body and the Earth. Ground through walking, dancing, getting out in nature, carrying red or black stones, or whatever else you like to do to feel less flighty. Once the moon is in Scorpio, we are out of the dark moon period and feel a gradual increase of light and optimism. Scorpionic optimism is deep and powerful and comes from a place of innate self-confidence. This is an ideal place to manifest from; envision what you wish to see in your corner of the world and beyond.

Wednesday, September 28th ~ The moon is in Scorpio all day, providing the ability to intuit more clearly and to pick up on the true motives of others. Mars trines Saturn at 1:48am EST, a transit which has been building all week and which we will continue to feel until the weekend. This amplifies our physical energy and brings balance to goals/drive and our ability to carry them out. Mars is quick moving and impulsive, while Saturn is gradual and well-planned. These two planets unite in a harmonious manner to allow us to get much done of a very high caliber. Certain things may take longer to complete but will likely be great quality. The moon conjuncts the South Node at 7:42pm EST. Memory is expanded and we can easily connect with the past. Nostalgia could emerge, as could a need to spend time with family (either blood or that which we choose). Past lives may be easier to glimpse under these skies.

Thursday, September 29th ~ We have another full day with the moon in watery Scorpio, providing intensity and emotional depth. We may be somewhat protective of our feelings and only want to share them with those we trust implicitly. Venus moves into Libra at 3:49am EST. In the sign it rules over, Venus is able to function at a high velocity. For the next three and a half weeks, we find more joy in romantic playfulness. Going out on fun dates can be a good way to work with this energy (be it with a partner or even just a friend). This is a social time and brings a need to take in beautiful sights and sounds with someone you care about. Museums, concerts, fine dining, or even just an autumnal-hued nature walk can provide inspiration. With both the Sun and Venus in Libra, you might find this an ideal time to make art, music, and other lovely things. The moon continues on to oppose Uranus at 3:49am and square Saturn at 4:57am EST. These are somewhat tense aspects which make us want to slip away from the watchful eyes of another. We may need more space or autonomy today and could be resentful of having to do work or answer to someone in authority. The moon trines Neptune at 1:02pm and sextiles Mercury at 2:57pm EST. The day becomes more positive around this time and brings imagination and a need to communicate and tell stories. The moon sextiles Pluto at 5:19pm and then moves void of course until just after midnight. We go swimming in the emotional depths; shallow means of thinking and communicating feel even more tedious during this time.

Friday, September 30th ~ The moon enters Sagittarius at 12:03am EST, bringing with it a buoyant, bouncy energy that seeks release. You might feel restless, like wandering or trying something new. Take a different route today, listen to music you've never heard before, try a new dish. The moon sextiles Venus at 2:03am and trines Jupiter at 5:38am EST. Positive transits increase our faith and hope and bring a need to share joy with others. The moon enters its Waxing Crescent phase at 1:05pm EST and with it comes a feeling of building energy, like something good is on the horizon and will be revealed soon. Anticipation makes the air feel like it is buzzing with possibility.

Saturday, October 1st ~ October blessings! The moon is in fiery Sagittarius all day, keeping our eyes trained to joyful means of expression. It's not the best day for discussing more emotional or heavy topics, as many people will have a hard time staying focused. The moon trines Chiron at 1:00am and sextiles Saturn at 8:47am EST. We leap into action and feel compelled to take care of something that has been hanging over our heads for a while. Much relief and freedom comes from crossing this off the to-do list. The moon opposes Mars at 11:03am EST which could bring a bit of a lull in energy. From 10:30-11:30am EST you may prefer to rest. Venus opposes Jupiter at 2:11pm EST, a transit we feel all day long. This spills the heart open with beams of prismatic love. You might notice a swelling of emotion when it comes to someone you care about. Expression provides an opportunity to amplify this sensation; share how you feel and watch it grow. The moon squares Neptune at 4:44pm and squares Mercury at 5:46pm EST before moving void of course until tomorrow. We could take things very literally tonight and have a hard time picking up on nuance, sarcasm, and the like. Keep your words clear and intentions strong as we move through this final day of Mercury retrograde.

Sunday, October 2nd ~ The moon is void of course until 3:37am EST when it ingresses Capricorn. This is total boss energy which increases self-confidence and our ability to undertake whatever lies ahead of us. We are only strengthened as Mercury stations direct and the retrograde finally ends at 5:07am EST. This brings relief to many and allows the planet of communication to move forward without being inhibited. It may be easier to commit to something or someone now, and to think and envision the future in a clearer manner. The moon squares Jupiter at 8:36am and squares Venus at 10:35am EST. These are harsh transits which slow down our ability to empathize. It is all business all the time for this portion of the day. Use this energy to your advantage by charging ahead and not getting slowed down by heavy waves of feeling. The moon enters its First Quarter phase at 8:14pm EST. This is somewhat jarring and can make us feel frustrated or blocked. Usually this leads to some reaction which then opens the door to something new. Remember if you hit a wall that you are being redirected to somewhere that is much more compatible with your wishes and dreams.
