Tuesday, February 13th ~ On Tuesday, February 13th, Mars moves into Aquarius at 1:05am EST. It will be here until March 22nd. Mars is the fourth planet in Aquarius now, with Venus joining it later this week. This Aquarian power punch compels us to seek out freedom and expression of individuality. Mars' influence leads us to fight on behalf of our community and friends. We may feel more compelled to champion the underdog and find ways to level the playing field. This is a very hands off placement for Mars; there is little meddling done here. Mars in Aquarius is all about respecting personal freedom and helping others to achieve it.

Venus sextiles Neptune today at 8:35am EST. This is a pleasant and cooperative aspect which encourages sharing between friends and loved ones. An almost telepathic connection opens up for some and allows us to feel the bond more deeply. We can also experience channeling in art projects, with ideas simply flowing forward if we can relax and not force the process.

Wednesday, February 14th ~ Happy Valentine's Day! Today (February 14th) we have a very un-Valentine-like transit as Mars conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius at 1:05am EST. This has been building since Monday and we will feel it through the rest of the week. Mars and Pluto team up to exaggerate issues with authority. We could butt heads with bosses, parental figures, and those in higher up positions. There is a strong desire for freedom and autonomy that colors the day. Some will use their ambition to advance their own standing. This transit can also activate a desire to transform through sexuality and physical means. While today may not be a light and sweet sort of day, we can channel a kind of deeper, more intimate romance that allows for pairings to transform together and become more powerful and lasting.

Friday, February 16th ~ Friday, February 16th begins with Venus entering Aquarius at 11:05am EST. There are now five planets here in this sign, although the Sun will only be here for another two days before moving into Pisces. Venus in Aquarius puts an emphasis on being more free-spirited in relationships. This placement is more about mental connections and sharing ideas with loved ones. There is more of a need to keep our individuality alive in relationships and partnerships during this time. Venus will be here until March 11th. Tomorrow, Venus will join Pluto in a conjunction at 3:48am EST. This will intensify our need to transform our personal relationships. Stagnancy will feel especially bad; we will want more movement and excitement in these personal connections. We could throw out a project we've been working on in favor of starting something new, or become somewhat obsessed with completing something we're passionate about.

Later on Friday, Mercury and Uranus meet in square at 10:52pm EST. This transit can introduce some stubbornness in communication. It's not the best day to try to sway others to seeing things your way. People are stuck in their viewpoints and will look at any attempt to persuade them as an imposition on freedom. You may notice some people will be a bit more wacky or shocking with their words, as though they are purposely trying to get a rise out of others.

Sunday, February 18th ~ Happy Pisces season! Sunday, February 18th is the final day of Aquarius season, with the Sun shifting into Pisces at 11:13pm EST. Pisces is the sign of mutable water, and is ruled by the planet Neptune. It represents the higher mind, intuition, and collective consciousness. Pisceans contain multitudes; their energy is porous and absorbent of what they encounter. Higher octave Pisces can use this to heal others and channel beautiful art. They are some of the most intuitive and wise people, though there is often a need to create some energetic boundaries as they tend to be extremely sensitive. Pisces season has a soft, dreamlike energy. It is a perfect time to paint, draw, write poetry, stare at the stars or clouds, go for leisurely walks, lucid dream, and work to awaken your intuition.
